Eyelash Extensions are a beauty treatment where synthetic or natural fibers are applied to your natural eyelashes to add length, thickness, and curl. They give the appearance of fuller, longer lashes without the need for mascara. The extensions are applied individually, one by one, using a special adhesive.
There are three main types of eyelash extensions, based on the material used and the style of application:
Classic Lash Extensions £40:
What they are: In this method, one extension is applied to each natural lash.
Look: These give a natural, mascara-like appearance with more length and subtle volume.
Best for: People with a good number of natural lashes who want to enhance their natural look.
Volume / Russian Lash Extensions £60:
What they are: Several ultra-lightweight extensions (usually 2 to 6) are applied to one natural lash.
Look: This method provides a fuller, more dramatic look, as the lashes are fanned out to create volume.
Best for: Those with sparse natural lashes or anyone seeking a more glamorous, thick lash look.
Hybrid Lash Extensions £55:
What they are: A combination of classic and volume techniques, where some lashes receive a single extension, while others receive multiple lighter lashes.
Look: A mix of natural and voluminous. This style gives both length and thickness without being overly dramatic.
Best for: People who want a middle ground between natural and full.
The initial application of eyelash extensions can take anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours. Every 2–3 weeks, a touch-up is needed to replace lashes that have shed naturally. These appointments typically last 45 minutes to 1.5 hours. Extensions last for about 4 to 6 weeks, as they shed with your natural lash cycle, but regular fills help keep them looking full.
